
Ube Latte - Homemade
Ube Latte is a smooth, colorful beverage that combines the sweetness of ube with the richness of coffee.
Easy to make at home, it adds an exotic touch to your coffee routine.
Ingredients (makes 1 cup):
- 1 teaspoon ube powder
- 120 ml hot water
- 150 ml milk (vegetable or animal, as preferred)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey (optional)
- 1 shot of espresso or 60 ml strong coffee (optional)
- Ice cubes (for iced version)
- Equipment needed
- A bowl or mug
- A whisk or milk frother
- A saucepan
Preparation:
- Mixing the Ube: In a bowl, mix the ube powder with the hot water until smooth
- Prepare the milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan. (Or leave it cold for an iced version)
- Blending: Add the ube mixture to the hot milk, then whisk until smooth
- Sweeten: Add sugar or honey to taste
- Add the coffee: Pour the espresso shot or strong coffee into the preparation
- Serve: Serve immediately for a hot version or add ice cubes for an iced version.
